Sky Blue vs. Lexington Law – Need help choosing!

I’m hoping to get some honest advice from people who’ve actually used these services before. I’ve been working on fixing my credit, and two companies keep coming up over and over: Sky Blue Credit and Lexington Law.

I’ve read a ton of online reviews, but they’re all over the place—and a lot of them sound like ads. I’d rather hear from real people who’ve been through it.

From what I can tell:
  • Sky Blue is more straightforward. Flat monthly fee, no fancy extras, and a lot of people say their customer service is great.
  • Lexington Law is a law firm and offers more bells and whistles, like identity theft tools and score tracking, but they seem more expensive and have mixed reviews.
If you’ve tried either (or both), I’d really appreciate if you could answer any of these:
  • Did it actually help your credit?
  • How long did it take to see results?
  • Were they upfront about pricing and easy to cancel?
  • Anything you wish you knew before signing up?
I’m hoping to clean things up before I apply for a mortgage next year, so I want to make sure I’m choosing a service that’s legit and actually helpful. Thanks in advance to anyone who shares!

I used Sky Blue about two years ago and honestly they’re no frills but effective. Got about 7 negative items removed over 6 months. Their support team was super responsive which i can’t say for other services i tried. no upsells or weird fees.

Lexington Law helped me but holy crap, it was pricey. The app was slick but i felt like i was paying extra just to get notifications about stuff i could already see on Credit Karma. It took 3 months to see any real traction.

Sky Blue was a godsend when i needed to clean up before buying my house. Simple pricing, good advice and i saw results in about 2 months. They paused my account when i hit a financial snag without canceling.....huge respect.

I’m always wary of services that charge monthly to fix credit. Lexington Law felt more like a subscription gym..you pay you feel like you're doing something but progress is slow unless you do the heavy lifting yourself.

Tried both. Sky Blue felt like a buddy who wanted to help. Lexington Law felt like a business trying to squeeze me dry. If you just need clean up and no frills go Sky Blue. If you need legal firepower (i didn’t), LL might fit.

Sky Blue was transparent from day one. No hidden fees and they told me straight up what they could and couldn’t do. That honesty won me over. Credit repair isn’t magic it’s a process and they never oversold it.

Lexington Law technically being a law firm is what got me to sign up… but tbh i never spoke to a lawyer. Just reps reading scripts. Felt like i was paying a premium for a title. Wouldn't recommend unless you need legal disputes.

Sky Blue worked better for me. Cheaper, quicker responses and better progress. I had five charge-offs, and they got three removed within 90 days. Canceling was as easy as sending an email.

Honestly neither are miracle workers. Your credit will only improve if the negative stuff is inaccurate or outdated. But Sky Blue helped me clean up a few old accounts and coached me on rebuilding. Worth the $79/mo IMO.

Lexington Law feels like one of those late-night “We’ll fix your credit FAST” infomercials. Flashy, expensive, and meh results. Their dashboard is nice though i’ll give them that.

y Blue helped me settle some collections by advising me to dispute carefully. I did most of the legwork but they guided me. Took about 4 months to see a 60-point jump. Super kind reps too.

Lexington Law's pricing tiers are a joke. You pay more for extras like score tracking you can get for free. I saw some changes after 6 months but by then I felt like i could’ve done it with a few templates and stamps.

I went with Lexington Law first and regret it. Switched to Sky Blue and felt a major difference in approach. Less robotic more support. Plus they didn’t try to upsell me on identity theft insurance like LL did constantly.

Sky Blue’s cancellation policy was smooth. No pressure, no shady charges. With Lexington i had to call twice to get my account stopped and they still charged me the next month.

Sky Blue’s simplicity is what makes it powerful. They don’t overpromise. My credit went from 540 to 670 in 6 months. Still some way to go but i finally qualified for a decent credit card.

Used Lexington Law for 8 months. Expensive and i didn’t get much in return. One deleted account in all that time. I think Sky Blue is better for people who are willing to be hands on but want guidance.

Tried Lexington for 5 months, gave up. Sky Blue started showing results in 2 months. No contest. Especially if you're aiming for mortgage readiness u want a team that’s not dragging things out.

Sky Blue helped me remove some late payments from student loans. Took 4 months. They emailed progress updates regularly. No need to call and beg for updates like i had to with Lexington Law.
