Has Anyone Tried Omega Credit Repair? Here’s My Experience

Just wanted to share my personal experience with Omega Credit Repair, in case anyone here is considering them or is on the fence about using a credit repair service.
I started working with Omega about 6 months ago after my credit took a hit due to a mix of old collections, missed payments, and some stuff that honestly shouldn’t have been there in the first place. I had tried disputing things on my own before, but got tired of the back-and-forth and hit a wall.

After doing a bit of research (and getting burned by one sketchy service a couple years back), I found Omega. The reviews looked solid, so I gave it a shot.
To be honest, I was skeptical at first. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about credit repair companies promising miracles and delivering nothing. But Omega was pretty different. They were upfront about what they could and couldn’t do, didn’t promise overnight results, and kept me in the loop the whole time.

Here’s what stood out for me:
  • Free consultation: No pressure, just clear info on what’s hurting your score
  • Regular updates: I got reports every 30–45 days showing what was being worked on or successfully removed
  • Real results: About 4 items removed in the first 90 days. My score has gone up by around 70 points so far
  • Education: They helped me understand how to build credit the right way, so I’m not just fixing the past I’m improving for the future too

I used Omega too, and honestly, your experience sounds almost identical to mine. I was drowning in medical collections and late payments from my 20s. They got like 6 items removed over 6 months. Still not perfect but my FICO jumped 80 points. Not mad at it.

Glad it worked out for you but i’d still be cautious. A lot of these companies do the spray and pray method..send generic disputes and hope something sticks. Sometimes it works sometimes you end up with a re verified mess. Know your rights under the FCRA too.

Yo SAME. i had Verizon haunting my report like a ghost from 2014. Omega got that sucker off in 2 rounds of disputes. I was skeptical too but the regular updates actually made me feel like i wasn’t being scammed for once

Thanks for the write up! Been debating between Omega and Credit Saint. Do they push you into long-term contracts, or is it like month-to-month? My last credit coach basically held me hostage for 9 months

What I really liked about Omega was that they did not sugarcoat anything. They told me straight up, this won’t be fast and i appreciated that. It gave me time to build good credit habits while they worked on the backend.

Haven’t used Omega, but this is a solid breakdown. I’ve been doing DIY credit repair using templates from Reddit and YouTube. It’s slow, but it’s free. Curious if anyone’s compared Omega to going solo?

I was about to sign up but saw some BBB complaints that spooked me. Anyone else dig into their legal track record or just trust the reviews? I’m tired of being another payday for these we’ll fix your life companies.

My score went up 60 points with Omega in like 4 months. They didn’t remove everything but even getting a paid collection off my report helped me get a decent car loan. Just don’t expect miracles.

I don’t trust ANY credit repair companies. Omega might be one of the better ones but in the end they’re still charging you for something you can legally do yourself. Google is free.

Respect for sharing this. People love to dunk on folks who use credit repair services but not everyone has time to dispute stuff manually. Life gets busy. Not everyone’s a financial expert.

Okay but can we talk about how half the stuff on people’s credit reports is just plain inaccurate? I had accounts from someone with a similar name. Omega helped me clear those up. I didn’t even realize until they pointed it out.

I think credit repair companies are like personal trainers. Yeah you could do it yourself with discipline, but some folks just need structure and help. Sounds like Omega gave you both.

I actually canceled my Omega plan after 3 months. They removed one item, but nothing else budged. Maybe I was impatient but i expected more for the price. Might go back later though.

Same here! They helped me remove a $900 collection from Sprint that was just sitting there like a credit killing time bomb. Customer service was responsive too which shocked me.

Omega worked okay, but what REALLY helped was them teaching me to use my credit cards right. Credit utilization hacks alone gave me a 30-point jump. Wish someone had told me that in high school lol.

Not gonna lie i was a little annoyed they couldn’t get a couple of my charge-offs removed. But they did warn me that not everything can go. Transparency is rare in this industry so props to them for that.

Did Omega help with student loan lates? That’s what’s killing my report right now. I got laid off during COVID and missed 3 payments. Been back on track since but it’s still haunting me.

I’m on month 2 with Omega right now. No deletions yet but they’ve been in regular contact. I’m giving it another couple months before i decide to keep going.
