Credit Repair - Credit Saint louis

if anyone has had experience with Credit Saint Louis or knows of reputable credit repair services in the St. Louis area. There’s a lot of information (and misinformation) out there, and it’s tough to figure out who actually delivers real results versus just taking your money and sending a few template dispute letters.

Credit Saint Louis seems to have a professional setup, but reviews are all over the place some swear by them, others say not much changed after months of paying. It’d be helpful to hear from anyone local who’s actually worked with them or gone through the credit rebuilding process with another St. Louis-based company.

This isn’t about expecting a miracle overnight, just looking for someone who’s transparent, knows the laws, and actually takes time to help you understand your credit report while working to improve it.

Any personal experiences, advice, or warnings would be greatly appreciated especially if there are local services that treat people fairly and don’t make unrealistic promises. Thanks in advance!

I've worked with Credit Saint Louis for six months now. They did help me get a few collections removed, but it took a lot of back and forth. They’re not a scam but you have to stay on top of them like, really on top of them. Think of them as more of a guide than a miracle worker.

Honestly i think these credit repair places just recycle the same dispute letters and hope something sticks. I paid for 4 months and only saw a 20-point increase. Could’ve done that myself with free online templates.

Credit repair companies be like: Pay us monthly so we can send strongly worded letters… to people who already hate you. I’ll fix my credit the old-fashioned way crying and logging into Credit Karma every hour.

I used a local attorney in St. Louis instead of a company and it was the best decision I made. Cost a bit more upfront but they were transparent and explained every step. Way less mystery billing.

I signed up with Credit Saint Louis three months ago. So far they've removed two incorrect late payments, which is progress. But it's slow and you have to be patient. Don’t expect fireworks....this is more like a slow burn.

I kind of agree, but not everyone knows how to draft proper disputes or has time to chase creditors. Sometimes it’s worth paying for the help just depends on the level of service you're getting.

Man i totally get the frustration. Trying to fix my credit post-divorce was hell. I tried a local company (not Credit Saint) and they ghosted me after two months. Anyone else have experience with Fresh Start Solutions in STL?

I did some digging...Credit Saint is BBB accredited but also has a few complaints. Their dispute process is tiered (Basic, Medium, Aggressive), but even the Aggressive one feels... tame. Not sure it’s worth the monthly fees.

I fixed my credit myself from 520 to 710 in about 18 months. Pulled reports, used snowball method, and sent my own letters. You don’t need to pay anyone unless you’re overwhelmed or truly don’t know where to start.

Credit Saint was all talk in my case. Charged me $99 a month for six months and only got one inquiry removed. Their customer support was nice but vague. Ended up cancelling and disputing on my own. More success that way.

Feels like these companies are the Hogwarts of credit repair ....lots of magic promises but you’re still stuck in Muggle reality when it's over.

Try Gateway Credit Services on Lindell Blvd. They helped my cousin fix up his credit before buying a home. Not flashy but they’re real people who actually sit down and explain your reports.

Yes this is what Iidid too. If you’re even a little organized and persistent..... it’s totally doable solo. Plus you learn a lot about how credit works.

Whatever you do avoid companies that promise to remove accurate negative info. That’s illegal and can actually get u in trouble. If it sounds too good to be true…

Anyone try Lexington Law and Credit Saint? I’m comparing both and just want to know which one gives better updates or more transparency?

The key to credit repair is knowing it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Whether you use a service or DIY........just know it’ll take 6–12 months minimum for real change. No magic bullets.

I second Gateway Credit Services! Used them back in 2021. Super thorough and didn’t charge ridiculous fees. Plus they didn’t treat me like i was stupid.

Hey props to you for asking instead of jumping in blind. Too many folks get taken advantage of when they’re vulnerable. Keep doing your research. It does pay off in the end.

Depends how close they are to dropping off. If it’s 6 years or more...........i’d say ride it out. Otherwise negotiate a pay-for-delete if possible
