It’s Time Credit Repair

Has anyone here worked with a company called It’s Time Credit Repair? Came across their name while browsing for credit repair services, and they seem to offer a decent range of help but as always, it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s just polished marketing.

Trying to get my credit back on track after a rough couple of years, and I’m looking for a service that’s actually legit, not just one that charges monthly fees and barely lifts a finger. I’ve seen a few names pop up over and over again, but this one seems a bit less mainstream and I figured it was worth asking around before committing.

Would love to hear any personal experiences positive or negative. Did they actually help remove anything?

Used them last year when I had a bunch of medical collections tanking my score. They actually got 3 of them removed within 60 days. Not saying they’re miracle workers, but it wasn’t just smoke and mirrors either. Worth a shot if you’ve tried doing disputes yourself and gotten nowhere.

I reached out to them back in January. They were super responsive, I’ll give them that. But after 3 months they only removed one late payment and kept saying things take time. Eventually i just did it myself with a few templates from Reddit and saw better results.

Honestly, any company with Credit Repair in the name makes me side eye automatically. Not saying they’re shady, but the whole industry is like 70% hype and 30% results. Curious if anyone has ACTUAL deletions from these guys though.

I used It’s Time and had mixed feelings. They did remove a charge-off that was haunting me for years but their communication could’ve been better. Took me chasing them for updates. They get stuff done but not exactly a white-glove experience.

Following! Been shopping for credit help too and they looked promising. Better website than most of the shady looking ones but not a lot of third party reviews. That always makes me pause.

To everyone saying do it yourself, some of us just don’t have the time or brain bandwidth. I don’t mind paying as long as they’re transparent and actually move the needle. Can someone confirm if they pressure-sell you after the first call?

They helped me go from 520 to 655 in about 4 months. Not bad IMO. Most of the improvement came from disputing a bunch of old utility bills and a repo. Still had to do some work on my end, like paying down my cards but they coached me through it.

Sooo... i didn’t hire them, but I did get 3 texts and 2 calls after I just filled out the form on their site Chill, It’s Time. I was just browsing.

They work kinda like Lexington Law, just smaller scale. Monthly fee, dispute cycles, progress portal .....the usual. But i liked that they didn’t try to upsell me a bunch of extra services like credit coaching or budget spreadsheets.

If you’ve got legit debts they can’t just delete them. I had two valid collections they couldn’t touch. They did knock off one bogus account which helped. Just go in with realistic expectations.

I’d trust them more if they weren’t so heavy on the Facebook ads. Every time a company is all glitz and glam on social but light on Better Business Bureau reviews, i get nervous.

Yeah I used them last year! My score jumped from 601 to 670. They removed some inaccurate late payments and one student loan that was listed twice. Took like 5 months though. Gotta be patient.

totally feel that! The credit repair space is full of we’ll fix your life for $99/mo promises. But at least these guys don’t pretend to wipe your record clean overnight. That’s already a green flag to me lol.

Not to derail the thread, but if you’ve never checked out r/personalfinance’s credit repair wiki, DO IT. Free info that saved me like $800 in fees. These companies basically do the same thing, just with nicer fonts

I gave It’s Time a shot after CreditRepair.com ghosted me mid-dispute. Honestly they’re more human. Real people answered my emails and i didn’t feel like i was just in a queue. Plus they explained everything in plain English.

They helped my cousin with some charge-offs, but also told her upfront what they couldn’t do. That kind of honesty is rare in this space. She said they got 4 things removed but one stayed and they even refunded a month’s fee for that one.

To be fair most companies just send generic dispute letters every 30 days and wait. It’s Time didn’t seem much different but i will say they were faster to reply than some big-name firms. I still prefer DIY now though.

Not a direct customer but i work in mortgage lending. Seen a few clients come in saying they used It’s Time. Results varied one dude saw a solid 70-point jump, another only like 15. Depends a lot on your report and how much junk’s on there.

Used them after a divorce wrecked my credit. I had 7 negative items, they got 5 removed in 6 months. Expensive but honestly saved me so much stress. Would recommend if you’re overwhelmed like I was.
