Seminole Credit Repair – Anyone Used Them?

Just came across a company called Seminole Credit Repair while looking into options to help clean up my credit. Curious if anyone here has actually worked with them?

There isn’t a ton of detailed feedback online, and before I make any kind of commitment, it’d be great to hear from people who’ve had direct experience whether they helped remove items, improve your score, or just gave solid advice.

Also wondering if they’re more focused on quick fixes or if they actually walk you through building long-term credit habits. Any info on their pricing, communication, or results would be really appreciated.

Yeah I worked with Seminole Credit Repair last year. My score was in the low 500s, mainly due to some charge-offs and a couple collections. They were able to get one collection removed and gave me a solid strategy for using secured cards. They weren’t miracle workers, but they were honest and explained things well. No shady overnight boost claims. I appreciated that. Pricing was $99/month for what they called standard maintenance. Took about 4 months before I saw real progress.

I tried them out back in 2022. They got a few inquiries removed but honestly the bigger stuff like late payments and my repo stayed put. Communication was decent via email, but I always had to follow up they didn’t proactively reach out. Their pitch felt more about monitoring and disputing than full-on education. I dropped them after 3 months and went the DIY route with better results TBH.

My cousin used them! I watched her score climb like 80 points in 6 months. Not overnight, but pretty solid considering she had a mess of medical collections. From what I gathered, they focus more on long-term improvement than gimmicks. They gave her credit-building tips like low utilization and auto-pay setup. She's still working with them. Not sure about the pricing, though. I think she paid like $400 total?

Always be cautious. I never trust ANY credit repair company until I see transparent proof of what they’ve done for others. Seminole doesn’t have many verifiable reviews, which makes me nervous. They might be legit, but the lack of footprint online is a red flag for me. I'd rather deal with companies that post success stories with receipts, y’know? Also never pay big money upfront. That’s a scam 101.

Seminole was decent for me. They didn’t do anything wild like promise to wipe bankruptcies (that’s illegal) but they did help clean up some duplicate tradelines and a weird address that kept popping up on my report. Their dashboard could use work it’s kinda clunky. But i appreciated their transparency. You can tell they’re not just trying to rinse people.

Used Seminole after a friend swore by them. My initial experience was rocky—they were super slow to onboard me. Took nearly 2 weeks after I paid for them to start. But once they did, they were pretty thorough with disputes. They actually educated me on credit utilization and aging accounts. Support was mostly email, but I got someone on the phone twice when I asked. I stayed for 5 months and jumped 60 pts. Not bad.

Honestly they were more like credit therapists than repair people.......i expected them to just send disputes, but they actually helped me build better habits. Taught me how to use the AZEO method and why not to close old cards. I was surprised how much they emphasized education. They also offered me a monthly plan instead of charging a huge setup fee. I stuck with them for 7 months........would recommend.

I signed up with them last year and honestly got ghosted after the 3rd month. They disputed a few things with Equifax but never followed through with Experian or TransUnion. When i asked for progress logs, it was always we’re working on it. I ended up disputing everything myself through Credit Karma. They may work for some but felt kinda meh to me.

I’ve been burned by Lexington Law and Ovation before so i was super hesitant about Seminole. But my brother used them and saw some results. They’re not national though.....they focus more on Florida residents I think? He had a repo and charge-off removed after 6 months. He said they were responsive and gave him access to their portal for updates. I’m thinking of giving it a shot myself but still on the fence.

I had a pretty decent run with Seminole. They were upfront that some things can’t be removed unless they’re inaccurate. That alone won my respect. Too many companies promise magic. They worked on my old utility bill and two charge-offs. One got deleted, the other updated to paid as agreed. Score went up about 55 points in 4 months. Their customer service was actually pretty chill too......fast replies on Facebook Messenger.

Did they work? Kinda. But was it worth $99/month? Debatable. They were very slow and only got one account deleted, which I honestly think i could’ve done myself. They’re not shady but not superheroes either. I stuck with them for 3 months, then switched to a DIY method using templates from r/personalfinance. Saved money and learned a lot more in the process.

No lie...i went from a 480 to a 630 in 8 months, thanks in part to Seminole. They taught me how to settle two collections and keep them updated properly on my report. Also helped me open a Self account for positive tradeline building. They didn’t just dispute they actually helped with planning. Customer support wasn’t 24/7 but they were always polite and helpful. I’d recommend them for beginners.

Every time I hear credit repair company, i get hives. But Seminole wasn’t a total scam, at least in my case. They removed an address i never lived at and two late payments. Score improved but slowly. Biggest complaint? They never called me back after the first onboarding chat. I had to chase them via email. If you're patient and know a bit about credit already, they’re alright.

Seminole Credit Repair is like that one quiet student who gets good grades but doesn’t talk much. They didn’t wow me with flair, but they did get results. I had a few old Verizon and Sprint accounts that they tackled one by one. I wish they were more communicative, but they did follow through eventually. Not flashy just effective.

Just wanna say before you pay anyone, check what you can do on your own. Credit Karma has dispute options and there’s tons of info here. Seminole might be helpful if you're overwhelmed, but their $99/month can add up real fast. I tried them for one month. Not bad.....not amazing. Wouldn’t commit unless your report is a total dumpster fire.

Their whole deal is we don’t promise deletions but we investigate and help clean errors. And tbh that’s fair. I was impressed that they didn’t try to sell me a dream. They helped clarify what was hurting me (mostly utilization and an old closed card) and gave me a plan. Didn’t see deletions but my score improved by about 40 points just from following their tips.

I appreciate how Seminole keeps it ethical. No new CPN identity nonsense or sketchy tricks. They actually focus on compliance with the FCRA. Not fast results, but I saw steady improvement after 5 months. Especially with Experian....they got two inaccuracies removed that had been haunting me for YEARS. If you’re in it for the long haul they’re worth checking out.

I tried 3 companies before finding Seminole and they were the most chill to deal with. They even sent me a monthly email summary which helped me track changes. Nothing revolutionary, but I liked the transparency. Just don’t expect miracles in month one. It’s a process.

Still working with them. Started in January. So far they’ve disputed two collections and advised me on opening a secured Discover card. Score’s up about 35 points. Not a bad start. I like that they don’t sugarcoat things.......they told me upfront that some items may stick. Appreciate the honesty.
