Credit Repair Services in Glendale

A family member is trying to rebuild their credit after some financial setbacks and would really prefer working with someone local who knows what they’re doing. We’ve come across a few options online, but it's hard to tell who’s legit and who just promises the world with no real results. If you’ve worked with a credit repair specialist or company in Glendale (good or bad) I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Looking for someone honest, transparent and results-oriented.

Thanks in advance!

I actually worked with Rebuild Financial in Glendale and had a surprisingly good experience. They didn’t promise overnight miracles, which was a green flag right off the bat. They walked me through the process, set realistic timelines (about 4–6 months), and kept me updated regularly. I started seeing results in about 2 months mostly collections getting deleted. Super communicative team. Not the cheapest but honestly worth every penny if you value transparency.

Honestly be careful with credit repair companies, especially the ones that advertise heavily. My brother signed up with one in Glendale (not naming names, but it rhymed with Shredit Glare) and they took $1,200 over 6 months with barely any changes to his score. Most of the stuff they said they'd remove was legit debt anyway. Better off disputing errors yourself through the bureaus.

We used Credit Revival Pros on Brand Blvd last year for my husband's late payments and two collections. They were transparent from the start—told us what was realistic and what wasn’t. It took about 4–5 months but his score jumped 70 points. They didn’t overpromise and didn’t charge crazy fees. Highly recommend if you're okay with a slower, steady fix.

Anyone heard of ClearPath Credit in the area? Found their site but reviews are mixed. Some people say they worked miracles others said they ghosted them after a month. My cousin’s looking too, so any firsthand experiences would be awesome before we even consider calling.

I know a lot of people push DIY credit repair, and it can work if you're organized but my mom went with a local guy named Felix (i think he runs out of an office near Glendale Galleria?). He helped her dispute some outdated medical stuff and explained how utilization really works. Straight shooter. Didn’t try to sell her anything weird.

lol my credit was wrecked after college (i blame 18-year-old me + Macy’s card). I tried one of those national services Lexington Law i think? They were okay but felt generic. Ended up switching to a solo consultant in Glendale named Mira who used to work in mortgage underwriting. Night and day difference. Personal focused didn’t waste time.

if they promise to delete anything from your report in 30 days, run. If they say they have insider access, double run. It’s credit repair, not Hogwarts. The legit folks will explain what can really be disputed identity errors, duplicate entries, obsolete debts and they won’t act like they’re casting spells.

I’m a local realtor and I’ve referred a few clients to Next Chapter Credit Repair in Eagle Rock (not far from Glendale). They’ve been solid especially with helping people qualify for FHA loans. One of my buyers had old utility bills and a judgment and they helped her get them settled AND deleted. Not overnight but effective.

I did it myself with help from r/personalfinance and a PDF someone here linked months ago. Credit repair companies are like hiring a tutor when you can self-study. If your family member has time, look into pay-for-delete letters, goodwill letters, and debt validation. Free and effective.

Yo if you’re looking for bilingual support, my Tía used Solución Credit Services they’re in Glendale and speak Spanish fluently. Super kind people, explained everything in layman’s terms. Her score went from 530 to 670 in under a year. Also helped her budget so she didn’t fall back into the same traps.

bad credit doesn’t mean you’re bad with money. Life happens. Divorce wrecked me. I worked with a Glendale-based credit coach named Tasha....she’s not a big company, just someone who’s been there. Helped me write dispute letters and gave real emotional support. Sometimes that’s the bigger win.

Has anyone here tried GPM Financial Solutions? They advertise a lot on local radio. I went to one of their free workshops and it was more of a soft sell than actual help. But maybe their one-on-one service is better? Just curious if anyone went beyond the freebie stuff.

If you want someone transparent and not just trying to upsell you into some monthly "monitoring" junk, find an NFCC-certified counselor. There’s one in Burbank that covers Glendale too. Not technically credit repair but more like financial coaching + legitimate dispute help.

Girl i went to high school with started her own credit repair biz and now swears she’s a credit queen. She charges $500 a month for credit elevation. Like what even is that? Be wary of these social media gurus who took a weekend course and now think they’re TransUnion whisperers.

We tried Pinnacle Credit Help in downtown Glendale. Mixed results. They were polite and professional, but not super responsive after we signed up. It felt like we had to chase them to get updates, not the other way around. Eventually got 2 accounts removed but it took 7 months.

you’re legally allowed to dispute anything on your credit report for free. A lot of these services just send out template letters YOU could send. That said, if someone needs help staying on track or figuring out what matters most, a real local consultant can be a lifesaver.

Yo if anyone tries to charge you before doing work, that’s a red flag. FTC rules say credit repair orgs can’t demand upfront payments. Had a friend who paid $300 up front and the place vanished. Filed a BBB complaint but never got a refund.

Moved to Glendale last year and found Refresh My Credit through Yelp. Surprisingly good experience. Their founder used to be in collections and now works to educate people on how to negotiate with creditors. Big emphasis on mindset and long-term financial habits.

I know this isn’t exactly what you asked but sometimes local banks and credit unions offer free credit counseling too. I went to Glendale Area Schools Credit Union (i’m not even a teacher lol) and they hooked me up with some resources I never knew existed.
