Anyone have experience with Ampm Credit Repair?

Hey folks, I’ve been working on rebuilding my credit and came across a company called Ampm Credit Repair. I’ve seen a couple of mixed reviews online some people saying they got results others saying it was a waste of money. Before I dive in and possibly throw cash at another service that doesn’t do much, I was wondering if anyone here has actually used them?

Do they actually help get things removed from your report? Are they legit about disputing negative items and improving scores? I’ve been burned by a few credit repair companies in the past so I’m a little hesitant.

Yeah I used Ampm about two years ago. They did help me get a few collections off my report, but it took longer than expected like 6 months. Just make sure you understand their fee structure. They’ll charge per deletion in some cases, not just a flat fee. Not a scam but not a miracle either.

Tried them last year. Honestly Meh. They were super responsive at first, then kinda ghosted when i asked for updates. One item was removed, but I did more on my own using credit dispute templates. Might work for some, but I didn’t feel like it was worth the money for me.

Dude i swear credit repair companies are like gym memberships. Great in theory, but you usually end up doing all the work yourself anyway. If you're already rebuilding, try self-disputes via Experian/TransUnion/Equifax. It's free and sometimes faster.

I had a weird experience with them. Some items were challenged, sure, but then they tried to upsell me on some credit coaching thing. Felt pushy. Got a few emails saying we’re still working on it but not much changed. Cancelled after 3 months.

AMPM helped me get 2 late payments removed from a student loan, which i didn’t think was possible. It took some time but they did deliver. I think results vary depending on your credit situation. Just don’t expect magic overnight.

I’ve actually had a decent run with Ampm. They got 3 collections off my report and my score went from 520 to 647 in 7 months. That said, you have to stay on top of them. If you expect them to do everything without follow-up, you’ll be disappointed.

I’d recommend doing a credit freeze and checking for identity theft first. If you’ve already been burned by other companies, be extra cautious. AMPM isn’t the worst out there, but if you don’t monitor progress yourself, it’s easy to waste months.

I’m still using them actually. Mixed results. They’ve disputed some things but i haven’t seen any big score jumps. It’s been like 4 months. I'm giving it until month 6 before deciding to cancel. Their customer service is better than Lexington Law, i’ll give 'em that.

I had better luck with Credit Versio tbh. But Ampm didn’t scam me they were just kinda… slow. They did what they promised, just not on the timeline I hoped for. Be realistic with your expectations or you’ll be mad for no reason.

Not sure about Ampm but i used a credit repair guy off Instagram (big mistake). Now i’m super skeptical of anyone promising fast deletions. Real credit building is slow and boring. If they’re hyping too much, they’re probably selling snake oil.

Ampm worked well for my cousin. Got 5 negative items removed in like 3 months. Her score jumped 100+ points. But I think she had some low-hanging fruit like medical collections. YMMV depending on what’s on your report.

They ain't magic, but they're better than some other clowns in the game. I tried them out when i was desperate, and they at least explained the process and didn’t ghost me. Got 2 collections removed. Score went from 560 to 625. Not bad.

Sometimes i wonder if these companies just dispute everything in bulk and hope something sticks. I didn’t use Ampm but a friend did. They got results, but also had to follow up a lot. Seems like you gotta micromanage them.

I emailed them a bunch of questions before signing up and they actually gave detailed answers. That gave me some confidence. I ended up not signing because I started DIY repair instead, but they seemed more legit than most.

If you’re considering Ampm, ask them if they provide copies of disputes and responses. Transparency is a big deal. Some places don’t give you squat and just say we’re working on it forever. Red flag.

Used them in 2022. They helped me clean up two charge-offs. They were patient and walked me through it. Took time, but was worth it. I paired it with getting a secured card and my score finally moved past 600 for the first time in years.

They helped with validation letters to collectors, and that was useful. I didn’t know you could request proof and catch errors that way. Just don’t expect miracles. Credit repair is more about persistence than anything.
