I’ve been doing some research on DIY ways to fix my credit and came across a few credit repair kits being sold online some are digital downloads, others are full printed packages. They usually claim to include dispute letter templates, credit report checklists, step-by-step instructions, and strategies for boosting your score over time. Has anyone here ever used one of these kits?
Did you find it actually helpful, or was it just stuff you could’ve found for free with a bit of searching?
I’m not against doing the work myself in fact, I’d rather avoid paying a monthly fee to a credit repair company but I also want to make sure I’m using legit info and doing things the right way.
If you’ve bought or used a credit repair kit, I’d love to hear your thoughts. What should I look for? Any particular ones you’d recommend (or avoid)? And did it help you see real results?
