Transferring Debt to Another Person: Is it even possible?

I’ve seen people just do a full-on bank transfer, pay off the relative’s card, and then treat it like a family loan. Might not help your credit score, but it gets the job done without calling the issuer.

Can I Get a Car Loan with a Repo on my Credit Report

As someone who used to underwrite auto loans, we did approve people with repos but only if it was 2+ years old and the rest of the credit report had signs of recovery. Strong income, stable job, lower DTI all help.

Does Ebt Affect Your Credit Score if You’re on it for a While?

I’m not sure I 100% buy that it’s never looked at. Like, yeah, it’s not on your credit report, but some lenders might make assumptions if your income is low or if you mention assistance. It's not the score that's impacted....it's perception.

Anyone have experience with Ampm Credit Repair?

Not sure about Ampm but i used a credit repair guy off Instagram (big mistake). Now i’m super skeptical of anyone promising fast deletions. Real credit building is slow and boring. If they’re hyping too much, they’re probably selling snake oil.

What Is a 609 Credit Score and How Bad Is It Really?

Back in 2018, I had a 608 and got denied for everything. It was humbling. Took me two years, a secured Discover card, and strict budgeting to finally cross 700. You’re not far off, trust me. Stick with it and stay patient.

    633 FICO Score

Dude same boat. I was 635 in April. I opened a secured card with Discover, set it to auto-pay $5 Netflix every month, and left it alone. Paid down two cards slowly and my score’s at 685 now. Takes time, but being boring and consistent works. Also: stop checking Credit Karma...it messes with your...

How to Remove a Judgement from Credit Report

In some states, if you pay and settle out of court, you can motion to reopen the case and request to vacate it by agreement. Courts usually approve it if both parties agree. Then you can send that vacate order to all three credit bureaus. It’s kinda paperwork-heavy but worth it.

Credit Repair Services in Connecticut – Any Recommendations?

Worked with Harbor Credit Solutions out of Groton. Small team, really responsive. They didn’t promise score jumps but showed us how to rebuild with secured cards and credit builder loans. Took 8 months, but score went up 120 pts.

Does Selling a House Hurt Your Credit? Because Mine Took a Huge Hit

You can try requesting reinstatement for those closed accounts. Some banks reopen them if you call quickly and ask nicely especially if you have long payment history.

Ideas for Credit Repair Business Names?

Have you looked into name generators? I used Namelix + a thesaurus and got Clearstead Credit and RenewWise. Didn’t use them, but they were solid starting points. Just be sure to check trademarks before printing business cards lol.

Good Credit Repair Pics or Visuals?

Honestly, seeing screenshots isn’t enough for me. I wanna see a timeline graphic with key dates when disputes were filed, when updates came in, etc. It’s not just the score that matters, but the process that led there. Teach through the timeline!

Has Anyone Used Pyramid Credit Repair?

I signed up when I had 8 derogatory marks on my report. After 7 months with Pyramid, 5 were removed and my score went from 580 to 690. I’m not saying it’s magic, but they handled stuff I didn’t know how to. They also helped me build positive credit through secured cards. Solid experience.

    Credit Repair Services in Boise

Not a pro tip but avoid the place next to that payday loan shop on Fairview. Went in curious and walked out feeling like I needed a tetanus shot and a lawyer. Super sketch vibes, weird contract wording, and the guy literally said, we can delete anything. Uh... no thanks.

    Best Student Credit Cards 2025

Not to sound like a boomer but don’t sleep on building with just one card. Open one, keep it simple, pay it in full, and focus on age + utilization. You can build a killer score in a year without spreading thin.

    Credit Repair UK

I’m still not convinced the credit system in the UK is fair. You can earn 6 figures and still get denied a £300 credit limit if your score’s low. Total joke. That said, low utilisation and time are your best mates right now.

Has Anyone Successfully Settled a Garnishment?

If you can swing $2K, offer it. They’d probably rather grab that than wait months for $3K. But don’t mention how desperate you are sound like someone who has other options. Confidence sells.

    Credit Repair Warriors

Debt snowball method saved my sanity. I needed quick wins more than efficiency. Seeing that first card at $0 lit a fire in me. Don’t let anyone shame your strategy....pick what works for your brain.

Has Anyone Heard of the "Credit Fairy"?

My grandma was my Credit Fairy. She let me piggyback on her 20-year-old Amex as an authorized user. My score went from nonexistent to 680 in six months. Didn’t even know what hit me.

Starting a Credit Repair Challenge – Who’s With Me?

I’m in the same boat started tracking every single expense with YNAB and stopped buying stuff i don’t need. My credit card balances are finally going down and i’m actually feeling… hopeful?? Never thought i’d say that about finances. Here for the accountability!

Sitting at a 633 Credit Score

The biggest thing that helped me? Chill out and stop checking Credit Karma every 3 hours lol. I used to obsess over every tiny change. But credit moves slow unless you’re making massive shifts. Once i backed off and stuck to a plan, the score went up. It’s like watching a pot boil if you stare...
