NGL most of them are just doing what you can do: pulling your credit report, firing off dispute letters, and crossing fingers. You're better off using Credit Karma for monitoring and following a Reddit DIY guide. Save yourself the $100+/mo.

I used The Credit Pros. Expensive and flashy website, but meh results. They removed ONE inaccurate medical bill and i paid them like $800 total over 8 months. Customer service was okay but i expected more progress. i’d say only use them if you’re dealing with identity theft or complex errors.

Can someone explain why loans aren’t transferable tho? Like i get it’s based on creditworthiness but if both parties agree and have good credit, why not allow it? Seems unnecessarily rigid. Not everyone wants to do a full-on refinance.

If you haven’t already, check out Credit Karma or NerdWallet....they’re not 100% accurate but they’re solid for tracking progress and learning basics. Also your FICO score is what lenders care about most, not VantageScore.
