Start by checking if they’re accredited by the IRS as an Enrolled Agent or have CPAs on staff. Anyone can say they can negotiate with the IRS but only certain professionals are legally allowed to.

My aunt used them and it worked out, but i still think people should go in knowing there’s no guarantee they can lower your debt. These services can help u navigate the system, not bend it.
