AFS Credit Repair – Anyone Worked With Them?

Has anyone here had any experience with AFS Credit Repair? I recently came across their name while looking into credit repair services, but I haven’t found a ton of detailed reviews or real feedback yet.

I’m in the process of trying to rebuild my credit after a few setbacks, and I’m open to getting some professional help if it’s actually worth it. I’ve been burned before by services that promise quick fixes and deliver next to nothing, so I’m being extra careful this time.

If you’ve worked with AFS Credit Repair, did you see real progress? How was their communication, pricing, and overall experience? Were they transparent about what they could do?

Would really appreciate any insight—good or bad—before I move forward with anything. Thanks in advance!

Yeah i actually used AFS about 8 months ago. They were decent, not miraculous. Got 4 negative items removed in about 4 months. Communication was solid weekly check-ins and updates. They weren’t pushy and didn’t overpromise.

Used 'em for 3 months. They did something but i could’ve probably done the same with a few dispute letters and Credit Karma. Felt like paying for peace of mind more than results.

I liked their transparency. They walked me through the whole dispute process. Pricing was reasonable too.........i paid around $89/month. They didn’t promise perfect credit in 30 days like some of those scammy ones do.

I’ve been burned by 3 credit repair companies. AFS was the least shady of the bunch but still didn’t wow me. I had a few medical collections they tried to remove but couldn’t. Decent communication, though.

I did a free consultation call with them. Super professional. They even told me not to sign up and gave free advice because my issues were fixable on my own. Gotta respect that level of honesty.

een with AFS for 5 months. They got two late payments reversed and one collection deleted. Score jumped about 50 points. Not magic, but better than going it alone IMO.

They helped me go from a 530 to a 660 in 6 months. Not a straight shot, there were ups and downs. But I appreciated that they educated me during the process. Learned a LOT.

I was so nervous after getting scammed by a different company. AFS was a breath of fresh air in comparison. They weren’t miracle workers but they were kind, consistent, and communicated well.

They cool. Not amazing, but not trash. Took a bit of time (like 3 months before any results), but they got my score from 590 to 650. Chill reps too.

AFS didn’t help me much directly, but they gave me a budget template and credit habit checklist that seriously changed how I handle money. Worth it for that alone.

AFS helped me remove 2 charge-offs. Not easy cases either. They were patient and persistent. No ghosting like other companies. I’d recommend them cautiously.

They use some automation but a lot of it is manual dispute work. That’s both good and bad it takes time but it’s tailored. Not some plug-and-play service.

I researched them a LOT before signing up. BBB rating was decent, no lawsuits i could find. Saw more good reviews than bad. Still proceeded cautiously.

If you’re already paying for Experian Boost, self-disputes, and using credit builder cards, AFS might be overkill. Depends on how hands-on you wanna be.

Totally agree. I did all my own disputes with the help of Reddit and YouTube. If you’re patient and willing to learn, you don’t need to pay anyone.

Yeah i worked with AFS last year when I was desperate to fix my score after a nasty divorce. They did manage to remove two collections, which helped a lot. Communication was okay—not amazing, but responsive enough. Pricing felt steep at first but compared to others I’ve tried, it wasn’t highway robbery.

My experience was lukewarm at best. They started strong good onboarding, clear roadmap. But then updates got sparse and i had to follow up constantly. It felt like once they had my money.....i wasn’t a priority. A couple of small things got fixed but nothing game changing.

AFS helped me get one charge-off removed which was more than Lexington Law ever did. They weren’t pushy or scammy and i appreciated their transparency upfront. Just don’t expect overnight results. This stuff takes time.

Bro i gave them a try and ended up with more stress. Got bounced between 3 reps over 4 months. It was like a bad group project where no one wants to take ownership. My score barely budged.
