Elevated Credit Repair

Looking into different options for cleaning up my credit report and came across a company called Elevated Credit Repair. On the surface, they seem to offer the standard credit repair services, disputing negative marks, helping with late payments, and providing strategies to rebuild credit.

I know this industry can be hit or miss, and I don’t want to throw money at something that won’t actually help. Has anyone here worked with Elevated Credit Repair? If so, did you notice real results, like negative items getting removed or your score improving? How transparent were they about costs, timelines, and what they could realistically deliver?

I’ve actually tried Elevated Credit Repair for about six months. They did manage to get one collection account deleted, but honestly it wasn’t anything I couldn’t have done myself with some dispute letters. They were polite, but I felt like they oversold the timeline. They told me 3–6 months, but real results took closer to a year. My score only jumped about 30 points.

Careful with credit repair companies in general. A lot of them just send the same cookie-cutter dispute letters you could find online. Elevated might be better than most, but I’d still say learn the DIY process first. Plus, it saves you the monthly fee. Why pay $100+ when you can mail your own certified letters for like $10?

I used them briefly and canceled after 2 months. They charged me upfront fees and then basically did nothing besides update me with we’re working on it. Felt more like a gym membership where you pay but nothing changes unless you do the heavy lifting yourself.

Not Elevated specifically, but my cousin got burned by another repair company. They promised deletions that never happened, and she ended up $1,200 lighter. I’m not saying Elevated is shady, but just be skeptical of anyone who guarantees results. That’s actually against the law for them to promise that.

If you’ve got the discipline, just grab a secured card, make on-time payments, and let time do its thing. That works better than relying on a third-party company like Elevated. Honestly, most of these places just prey on people who want quick fixes.

agreed, but not everyone has the patience or knowledge to DIY. Sometimes it’s worth paying for hand-holding. Elevated at least provides credit education resources. My friend swears she learned budgeting tips from them that she still uses. So maybe the value isn’t just deletions.

I looked into them and the monthly fee was around $100–$120, depending on the package. That’s kinda steep if you’re strapped for cash. Imagine paying that for a year and still having your bad marks sit there. I bailed before signing up.

Tbh I almost went with them, but the guy on the phone came off like a used car salesman. Lots of we can absolutely guarantee big results. The guarantee language alone made me nope out.

I’m in the middle of using them right now (month 4). They’ve gotten 2 late payments deleted so far, which shocked me. I can’t complain too much, but it definitely feels slower than advertised. My score is up 45 points though, which for me was worth the money so far.

One of my buddies used Elevated and said they were responsive, but the removals were mostly old items that were gonna fall off anyway. He felt like they just took credit for natural time passing. If you’re close to the 7-year mark on stuff, don’t bother paying anyone.

For context, I work in finance, and here’s the truth: no one can legally do anything you can’t do yourself under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These companies just package it neatly and keep track of deadlines for you. If you’re lazy, they help. If you’re motivated, skip them.

yeah but people pay for convenience all the time. Like I can wash my own car but I still go through the car wash. If Elevated makes the dispute process easier and keeps me accountable, that’s not the worst use of money.

I had better luck with Lexington Law than Elevated. Elevated felt like a small-time shop. Lexington at least had a big infrastructure. Downside: both are expensive and you still wait months for small changes.

I lowkey think half these companies just open disputes online through Experian/Equifax/TransUnion portals and call it a day. You could literally sit down one evening and do the same thing. Elevated probably isn’t much different.

I did Elevated for 7 months and cancelled. Got one medical collection off, but the rest stuck. Cost me around $700 total. Do I regret it? Kinda. Do I hate them? Not really. They just weren’t miracle workers.

Does anyone know if Elevated uses pay for delete tactics? I’ve heard mixed things about whether that’s even legal. Some companies negotiate directly with creditors but don’t always tell you that’s what they’re doing.

Funny thing, my brother signed up with them and forgot he even did until 3 months later. He logged in and saw a 60-point increase. Turned out they actually had removed two collections. He was happy, but it still feels like a gamble.
