Freedom Credit Repair – Worth It

Just wanted to drop a quick post in case anyone's dealing with credit issues. A few months ago, my score was in rough shape after some medical bills and late payments. I ended up working with Freedom Credit Repair, and honestly, I’m glad I did.

They were transparent from the start, explained exactly what they could and couldn’t do, and kept me in the loop the whole time. It wasn’t overnight magic but within a few months, I saw solid results negative items removed, score went up, and I finally qualified for a decent credit card again.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I’d say it’s worth at least talking to them. They do free consultations, so no pressure.

I used Freedom Credit Repair last year after my divorce tanked my credit. They helped me dispute several old collection accounts and even removed an erroneous repossession. The reps were super patient and explained everything in plain English. My score jumped over 100 points in 6 months. I still had to pay down my balances, but it felt doable with them in my corner. Highly recommend if you need help but don’t know where to start.

That’s awesome to hear! I actually scheduled a consultation with them just last week but was on the fence. I’m a bit paranoid after getting scammed by a shady credit sweep service two years ago. So far they seem legit and not pushy. This post helps me feel a bit more confident about moving forward.

I appreciate the transparency in your post. Most people either rave about a service with zero details or bash it with no real explanation. It’s encouraging to hear they didn’t overpromise and still delivered. I don’t mind waiting a few months if I know things are going in the right direction.

I tried them and my results were kinda meh tbh. They did get a couple things removed but nothing earth-shattering. I think if you have more serious or recent delinquencies, it’s a slow grind regardless of who you hire. Still customer service was on point.

I’m curious how much did it end up costing you? I know they do free consultations but i always worry about hidden fees. I’ve been burned before with those $99/month places that sneak in extra charges when you blink.

I paid around $89/month and they were clear about it upfront. No surprise fees for me, and they even paused billing one month when I asked. I felt like they were more human than corporate, you know?

Glad to hear someone had a positive experience. My friend used Freedom Credit Repair and said the biggest value was how they educated her. She didn’t even know utilization rates mattered until they explained it. Honestly more of us need basic credit classes in high school.

You still gotta be careful though. Even legit services can’t fix everything. Like if your debt is valid they can’t just erase it. But they can help clean up reporting errors or negotiate with creditors. Just keep expectations realistic and you won’t be disappointed.

I used Lexington Law before and switched to Freedom. Freedom felt more personal, less corporate-y. The results were similar but the vibe was way better. I wasn’t just a case number with them.

Same here. Their portal is super easy to use and i liked the regular updates. I never felt like I was in the dark about what was happening. That alone was worth the monthly cost for my peace of mind.

LOL free consultation just means they’re gonna pitch you like crazy. But at least these guys seem to back it up. I’ll give ’em a call this week and see how it goes. Not expecting magic just wanna stop living in credit hell.

I’ve had medical debt tank my credit too. Collections from 2018 still haunt me. Did they help with medical stuff specifically? Or was it mostly credit cards and loans?

They helped with my medical collections. Sent out validation letters and one of the accounts got deleted because the collection agency didn’t respond. Worth trying, especially if the debt is old.

I always tell people...repair services are tools not fixes. If you’re still racking up debt or paying late, no service will save you. But if you’re actively trying, they can really help you get ahead.

That’s the thing. I was overwhelmed and didn’t even know where to begin. Freedom broke it down into manageable steps. I did the budgeting, they did the disputes. It worked well.

This gives me hope. I’m about to apply for a mortgage and my credit score is the last thing holding me back. I might call Freedom to see if they can clean up a couple old derogatories before i apply.

Freedom was cool, but I ended up doing most of the disputes myself using templates from Reddit. Took longer, but it was free. If you’re broke but have time, DIY works.

I don’t trust any company touching my credit. But i get that some people need the help. Just read the contract carefully and avoid anything that guarantees credit sweeps or new identities. That’s scam territory.

Anyone know if they work with people in Chapter 13? i’m mid-bankruptcy and don’t want to mess anything up but would love to prep my credit for when it ends next year.
