My credit score is stuck at a measly 430 thanks to some old charge-offs - a $5k one from Chase and a $2k one from Wells Fargo - haunting my credit report. Trying to get that score up for a mortgage pre-approval soon, and these ugly marks are a major roadblock.
Anyone in Georgia successfully removed charge-offs from these big banks? Please let me know about your experiences/tips.
