Unexpected Contact from MediCredit Collection Agency

This morning, I received a call from MediCredit, a collection agency, stating they have an important personal message for me. They used my full name in the message, which raised a red flag. While I haven't received any prior bills or notices regarding outstanding debts, this call has caused some concern.

Since I'm unfamiliar with any potential reasons for MediCredit to contact me, can someone please guide me on what to do next. I was thinking I’ll just check AnnualCreditReport.com to verify if any unexpected debts are listed. In the event an unfamiliar debt appears on my credit report, what steps should I take to initiate a dispute with the credit bureau?
