30 Day Credit Repair

30-day credit repair programs or services that claim to boost your score fast? I’ve been seeing a few companies advertising quick results some even promise major improvements in just a month and I’m wondering if there’s any truth to it. I know credit repair usually takes time, and I’m skeptical of anything that sounds too good to be true. But I also know that sometimes people have legit success with short-term fixes like removing errors or resolving old accounts.
If you’ve gone through a 30-day credit repair program (good or bad), I’d love to hear your experience. Did your score actually improve? Was it worth the money? Or did nothing really change?

The only way your score improves in 30 days is if you remove incorrect info, pay down utilization or get added as an authorized user. Anything else is probably fluff or illegal

My mom added me to her 15-year-old card with a $25k limit. My score jumped 60 points in a month. YMMV tho

Tried a "guaranteed 100+ points" program. Paid $99. They disputed 3 items only 1 was removed. Score went up 7 points

Did it myself. Sent Goodwill letters to lenders, paid off old balances and disputed duplicates. +78 points in 30 days. No need to pay anyone

Anything that promises overnight results smells like snake oil to me. Credit repair takes consistency, not fairy dust. Sure, disputing errors can get you a quick bump but most real changes come from paying down balances not $99/month gurus waving a wand. Just my 2 cents.

I had success but only because I did the work myself. Found a free 30-day challenge on YouTube, followed the steps (debt snowballing, goodwill letters, disputing 1 error). Boosted my score 50 pts in 4 weeks. Didn’t cost a dime. Sometimes these companies charge you for info that’s already out there.

Used Lexington Law years ago....got maybe a 20-point bump in a month, but they kept charging for 3 months after i canceled. It’s not that they’re all scammers but they bank on people being lazy or desperate. Read the fine print and always cancel through email and phone.

credit bureaus have 30 days to respond to disputes. So some of these 30-day services are just filing a bunch of generic disputes and waiting. That’s not magic it’s just timing. If the item isn’t verified in that window, boom, temporary score jump.

Yo i went from 512 to 563 in 28 days using Self (that credit-builder loan app). Not a repair service per se but it helped add a positive tradeline while i paid down other stuff. So yeah, some things can shift your score fast, just not the stuff they advertise on late-night TikToks.

No offense but if you're paying someone to send dispute letters, you're just outsourcing basic typing. Disputes are free. You can do it via Credit Karma or mail. And if you lie in those disputes like many services do, you’re risking a fraud accusation. Not worth it.

I actually used The Credit People and had a 70-point increase in 30 days. Not all from deletions some of it was from paying down two credit cards to under 10% usage. But they were super helpful. Not a miracle, but definitely not a scam in my case.
