Anyone Heard of AM/PM Credit Repair? Legit or Not?

Has anyone here worked with or heard of a company called AM/PM Credit Repair?

I came across them recently while searching for help with improving my credit score. Their website looks pretty polished, and they claim to help with things like removing negative items, boosting your score, and offering personalized credit strategies. Sounds great but I’ve been burned before by companies that overpromise and underdeliver, so I’m trying to be cautious.
If you’ve used AM/PM Credit Repair, I’d love to know:
Did they actually help improve your credit?. Were they transparent about costs and the process?. And was it worth it in the end?

Yeah, I actually used AM/PM about a year ago. They were pretty straightforward at first, and I saw a bump in my score after a few months, like 40 points. But after that, progress plateaued. Not terrible, but I wouldn’t say miraculous either. Customer service was responsive though, which I appreciated.

I looked into them but decided to pass. Felt a little too infomercial polished for my taste, ya know? I’ve learned the hard way that just because a site looks slick doesn’t mean the company behind it is solid. I went with a nonprofit credit counselor instead and had way better results.

Still working with them currently. It’s been 3 months and I’ve had 2 negative items removed so far, which is honestly more than I expected. The rep assigned to me is pretty communicative. Pricey? Yeah. Worth it? Maybe. Still deciding. I’ll update if things get better or worse.

They quoted me $129/month, which I found kinda steep considering most of the dispute letters you can send yourself. The sales pitch was slick, but I asked some technical questions and got vague answers. That’s a red flag in my book. Just my 2¢.

I’ve been where you are. Burned twice before by shady credit repair companies. I’ve not tried AM/PM, but the “personalized strategy” line sounds like marketing fluff unless they actually audit your credit behavior. Ask for specifics and see how they respond before signing up.

Just here to say I almost signed up with them but got cold feet last minute. Started reading FTC reports on credit repair scams and freaked out. Decided to take the DIY route with Credit Karma and a secured card. Slow but safe.

I had a friend use them and they saw some modest gains. Nothing game-changing, but their collections dropped off, which helped their score. I think expectations need to be realistic. It’s not magic more like a helper service for people too busy to DIY.

Did a consultation call. Felt like I was on the phone with a car salesman. All upsell, little substance. When I asked what exact strategies they use, they danced around the question. Hard pass for me.

Honestly, if you’ve already been burned before, maybe try a credit union or a financial advisor instead. I tried Lexington Law before (ugh), and AM/PM felt like the same kind of pitch. These companies prey on desperation, so tread carefully.

I used AM/PM and they DID get a charge-off removed. Took 6 months but it happened. My score went up like 60 points. No lie. Was it worth $700 total? Depends who you ask, but I was desperate, and it helped me buy my car. So yeah, I’m grateful.

wow, that’s great you got that charge-off removed! Curious, did they give you an exact timeline or was it kind of wait-and-see? I’ve got one lingering collection I’m trying to get rid of too.

they gave me a rough 3–6 month estimate, but it really depended on how fast the bureaus responded. I had to stay on top of follow-ups too — they didn’t always update me unless I bugged them. Just FYI!

I’ll be honest, I kind of trust them more because they don’t promise overnight miracles. Most scams promise like 100 points in a week or whatever. AM/PM said it could take time. Felt more grounded.

Nah, not for me. I did a free trial with them and canceled before they could charge me. The dashboard was clunky and didn’t show me much that Credit Karma doesn’t already show. I expected more for something “premium.”

I’m curious..... does anyone know if they report progress monthly or just at the end? Like, is there a progress tracker or something? I hate companies that ghost you after the signup.

Their BBB rating is B+, I think? Not terrible, not glowing. I’d be more inclined to trust if they had more reviews on places like Trustpilot or Reddit tbh. Too many Google reviews feel copy-pasted.

I asked them if they use Metro 2 compliance in their disputes and the rep said uh, I think so? Like, come on. That’s basic. If you don’t know your own methods, why should I pay you?

My cousin used them to clean up her report before applying for an apartment in NYC. Got 2 collections removed and score jumped 45 points. She said they were chill but slow-moving.
