Credit Repair Kings Reviews

I've seen a bunch of them advertised but it's hard to tell which ones are actually trustworthy and not just trying to make a quick buck.
Anyone have experience with a real reputable one?

I tried Credit Repair Kings for three months. It wasn’t the worst experience but I didn’t see any real progress. Mostly they just re-disputed items I had already challenged on my own

Credit Repair Kings sounds like one of those companies that picked an overly confident name to make up for what they actually deliver

If a company promises to “fix your credit in 30 days,” that’s usually just code for “we’ll send out generic dispute letters and cross our fingers.”

I actually had a pretty decent experience with them. They were able to get two collections and one late payment removed from my credit report. It didn’t happen overnight it took around 90 days but the results were solid.

It wasn’t some miracle fix but for me it did what it promised.

But how much did they actually charge you? I heard they bill monthly even if they don’t end up getting anything removed from your report

I did a free consultation with them and it felt really scripted and sales-y. They were pushing their services pretty hard before even taking a proper look at my credit report.

If you hear them mention things like “credit sweeps” or “file segregation,” that’s your cue to run. That stuff is super shady and can even be flat-out illegal

I spent 20 years in mortgage underwriting and whenever I see Credit Repair Kings pop up in someone’s application history it raises a red flag. Just being honest

My brother ended up paying $400 to Credit Repair Kings, thinking he’d get real hands-on help fixing his credit. But all they did was send him a few generic PDF dispute templates basically stuff you can find online for free with a quick Google search.

No personalized guidance, no actual follow-up just a bunch of copy-paste documents. He was beyond frustrated and honestly felt scammed. For that kind of money, he expected way more than a few canned emails.

I totally understand it can feel incredibly overwhelming trying to fix your credit when you're just trying to keep your head above water.

But asking questions before jumping in? That’s absolutely the right move

They did manage to bump my score up by about 20 points but I constantly had to follow up with them. It felt like I was babysitting a company I was actually paying to help me.

I used their services last year and at first, I was actually impressed they managed to get one legitimate negative item removed from my credit report. It gave me hope that things were finally moving in the right direction.

But about six months later that same item reappeared like it had never been taken off. Turns out, it was just temporarily removed due to a dispute not permanently resolved. So while there was a short-term win it didn’t stick and in the end I felt like I was back at square one

If they were truly kings they’d reign over a kingdom of transparency and fair pricing. Sadly they seem to have set up shop in the land of Shadytopia instead

I tried asking them some pretty basic questions about compliance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) just to make sure they were operating above board.

Instead of giving me clear answers they hit me with a bunch of vague confusing jargon basically a word salad that didn’t actually address what I was asking

It felt like they were either dodging the question or didn’t fully understand the rules themselves. Either way it definitely didn’t give me any confidence in working with them.
