CreditMRI? Looking for Real Reviews or Experiences

I’ve been doing some digging into credit repair companies and came across CreditMRI. Their site claims they don’t charge anything upfront and only bill after results, which sounds promising but also makes me a little cautious.

I’ve read a few mixed reviews online. Some people say they had great results and saw improvements within a few months, while others felt like nothing really changed or that communication was spotty. It's hard to tell what’s legit these days with so many paid reviews and fake testimonials floating around.

So I wanted to ask herehas anyone actually used CreditMRI?

What was the experience like?
  • Did you see real deletions or credit score increases?
  • How long did it take to get results, if any?
  • Were there any unexpected fees or fine print to watch for?

I actually used CreditMRI last year. They did get a couple of collections removed, and my score went up like 50 points in three months. No upfront fees is real, but I did notice a monthly processing charge later on that wasn’t super clear. They respond, but slow.

I signed up after reading about the pay after results pitch too. It’s legit in that sense. They didn’t charge until stuff came off. But honestly, you can dispute stuff yourself with a little research. They’re just doing what you could DIY.

Had a family member use them ....she swears they saved her credit. From 520 to 670 in 6 months. I looked into it for myself but bailed because the terms felt murky especially with their auto renew thing buried in the email. Always read the fine print!

They deleted two charge-offs for me which was great but didn’t touch a late payment that was the real issue. Customer service ghosted me halfway through month 4. Like crickets. You’re better off using them as a short term boost not a long term fix.

I tried CreditMRI and Lexington Law at the same time and CreditMRI was faster and cheaper. LL dragged things out like a telenovela. MRI was more results driven but definitely aggressive with upselling other services.

Y’all ever feel like these credit repair places are just playing the dispute lottery? I used CreditMRI for 5 months. Got one bogus account removed which i probably could’ve done myself. Worth it for peace of mind, i guess but don’t expect miracles.

My husband signed up and they removed a repo from 2018. Legit results but they also tried pushing credit-building cards hard. Felt like a setup to make more commissions tbh. Still that repo removal helped his FICO a lot.

You’re right to be cautious. I didn’t get charged until they got two items removed. But what they don’t tell you is they bill per deletion. So if you have multiple bureaus reporting the same thing it’s $$$ fast. Watch that.

CreditMRI got my bankruptcy from 2016 removed from Equifax only. TransUnion didn’t budge. That’s where I felt disappointed. Like don’t make promises if it’s only partial success.

I’ve used several services and CreditMRI was mid-tier. Not the worst not amazing. Their backend portal was super clunky. Also don’t believe those free consultation ads...... it’s just a lead capture call with a sales script.

Honestly CreditMRI felt more trustworthy than others because they didn’t demand payment up front. That said my results were uneven. Some stuff came off fast but old medical debt stayed on no matter what. Still +40 points overall.

They helped me boost my score before I applied for a mortgage. I didn’t even care about deletions..........i just needed quick movement. They got me enough points for FHA approval so i ain’t mad.

Credit repair companies are just overpriced middlemen for public info. CreditMRI’s site is polished but behind the scenes they’re just using template dispute letters. Learn how to do it and save the cash.

Not a customer but i called them to ask about their no upfront fee model. The rep was friendly but very pushy. Like used car salesman energy. Told me i needed help ASAP... based on nothing.

Used CreditMRI last year. They helped clear out some ID theft accounts I had no idea existed. Worth it for that. I was getting nowhere on my own, and they got results in about 8 weeks.

I started with CreditMRI and then canceled after reading the contract more closely. Their no payment upfront is technically true but they hit you with multiple charges later. Not quite as free as they imply.

They helped me remove an eviction from my report which i didn’t think was even possible. That alone was worth it. But communication was super slow. Felt like they were overwhelmed or short staffed.

CreditMRI is a Mixed bag. One bureau showed improvement the other two ignored their disputes. They do try but it’s like firing shots in the dark. I’d say use them only if you’ve already tried disputing and failed.
