Has Anyone Used Pyramid Credit Repair?

Doing some research into credit repair services and came across Pyramid Credit Repair. They seem to offer a fairly straightforward approach customized dispute strategies, a dedicated account manager, and no upfront fees but I wanted to check in here before moving forward.

Has anyone actually worked with Pyramid?
  • Were they effective at removing negative items or improving your score?
  • How was the customer service and communication?
  • And was the process worth the monthly cost?
I’m trying to avoid getting stuck in a contract or paying for a service that doesn’t deliver. So if you’ve had any experience with Pyramid Credit Repair (good or bad), I’d really appreciate your honest input. Thanks in advance for the help!

Used Pyramid for six months back in 2022. They helped me get 3 collections removed, which bumped my score up by about 60 points. I liked that they didn’t charge upfront and were super clear about what they were doing. My account manager (shoutout to Marcus!) was responsive, even answered emails on weekends sometimes. If you're patient, it can be worth it.

Honestly i don’t trust any credit repair service. Pyramid included. Like… you’re paying someone to send dispute letters you can literally DIY for free through Credit Karma or the bureaus directly. Unless you’re super busy or overwhelmed, i’d say educate yourself and save the $100/month.

I was in the exact same boat a year ago....bad credit, felt hopeless, and came across Pyramid. They weren’t a miracle, but they gave me structure. Removed 5 negative items in 4 months. Score went from 540 to 645. Still working on it but definitely feeling more empowered. No shady stuff, no contracts.

I appreciate you doing your homework before jumping in. Pyramid isn’t a scam, but I think people go in expecting overnight results. Credit repair takes time, even with professional help. They were honest with me about timelines and what they could/couldn’t do. That transparency mattered.

YES! i used Pyramid and they were AWESOME. I had two charge-offs and a late payment from a student loan. They managed to remove the charge-offs completely. My score jumped from 598 to 702 in less than 6 months. Communication was A+ too. Worth every penny IMO.

Oh sure just hand over your wallet and let someone else fix your money problems. What could go wrong? Look, they’re not evil or anything, but don’t expect miracles. They can only do what you could do, just with fancier language and more free time.

They’re decent but don’t believe the hype. I paid $99/month for 5 months and they only got one item removed. The reps were polite but i always had to follow up. If you go with them, keep your expectations realistic. Not magic just methodical disputes.

Anyone here not get results with them? I’ve heard mostly good but i’m wondering if there are folks who felt like they got ghosted or just didn’t see progress. I don’t want to get locked in paying $99/month just to wait and see.

I signed up when I had 8 derogatory marks on my report. After 7 months with Pyramid, 5 were removed and my score went from 580 to 690. I’m not saying it’s magic, but they handled stuff I didn’t know how to. They also helped me build positive credit through secured cards. Solid experience.

Meh. For what they charged me ($99/month), I expected more. I was with them for 4 months and didn’t see any movement. Their customer service was kind, but i felt like i was always talking to a different person. Might’ve just been bad luck.

Credit repair services aren’t for everyone but if you’re overwhelmed or don’t know where to start, Pyramid’s a decent option. I liked that they didn’t push contracts and had a dashboard i could check. It was like Credit Karma but with people behind it.

I tried Lexington Law and Pyramid. Between the two, Pyramid wins in customer service and transparency. LL felt corporate and robotic. Pyramid felt like a smaller, hungrier company trying to win you over with actual help.

If you’ve got the cash and don’t have time to dispute on your own, go for it. Pyramid isn’t shady. They walk you through what they’re doing and give monthly updates. I used them after a divorce trashed my score, and they were a lifeline.

Tried them in 2023. What annoyed me was the pace. Like… month 1 = analysis. Month 2 = first dispute round. Then you wait. Felt like forever. Eventually they got 2 things off, but man, you need patience. If you want fast results, you're gonna be disappointed.

Tried Pyramid after being laid off and falling behind on bills. They weren’t perfect, but they did what they said they would. It wasn’t dramatic but they cleaned up some old stuff and taught me a lot about credit habits. So yeah i'd cautiously recommend.

harsh but not totally wrong. Still, not everyone has time or the mental space to learn credit law. If people are paying for convenience, that’s their choice.

I’ve been with them for 2 months so far. No results yet, but communication’s been great. They explained everything up front, and I get regular updates. Hoping to see some removals soon. I’ll report back!
