I’ve been trying to get more serious about improving my credit and came across the term “credit specialist” quite a few times. I get the general idea that they help with credit repair or financial advice, but I’m still a little confused about what they actually do.
- Are they the same as credit repair agents?
- Do they work for banks, or are they usually independent?
- Can they legally remove negative items from your report?
- Is it worth hiring one, or are there DIY options that work just as well?
